Close to home

I stretched out this morning and I am anticipating a walk with my girls later today.  My husband was still sick yesterday  so I stayed close to home.

Chick pea Chili no meat was on the menu yesterday, and a greek salad.  I still ate my Raisin Bran for breakfast.  I still don't get the fact that I have lost a pants size but gained weight.  What goes on with the body is a mystery to me but I feel good.

My girls will enjoy the warm weather today and so will I.

Resting

I rested yesterday, my husband was sick and I took care of him.

I ate roasted veggies yesterday and sausage.  Very Yummy.  And I danced.

Going for a walk today!

I ran!

Yesterday I ran.  It was not very far but man it felt good.  I ran behind my girls double stroller.  I am going to run today.

I also danced while waiting the minute for my coffee to cook today.  I am finding little places during the day where I simply did not move. Waiting for the microwave is one place I have found time to stretch and move.

I am going out today for a long walk.

That is all today.

Cleaning home

Today is the first day of spring cleaning.  I need to find some work out clothing, and dedicate those to working out.  It means changing my day clothing into my work out clothing but that should signal to my girls that mommy is working out.

My girls are 14 months apart and demand a lot of time.  I love them dearly and that is why I made the goal to run the Disney Half marathon in 2010.  I am trying to train around them.  Today I will be strolling them around my neighborhood.  I don't normally do this... and frankly it is scary to change.  For them, I will.  I have gained a pound since I started working out so I feel a bit discouraged this morning.

I wanted to loose weight.  Maybe more working out?

Did not do anything today

I made baked olive oil potato skins today.  Very yummy.

I danced at the video game store, only because I was bored waiting for my son to pick up his latest game.

I feel a bit fidgety lately.  My muscles want to be moved.  I like that.  It has been almost eight months since I gave birth to my youngest daughter.  It has been two years since any really strenuous exercise since I have had two babies in two  years.  I am glad to be able to stretch and move.

Some times my joints ache a little.  But that is expected.  I will write more tomorrow.  I think I have made progress this week.  The first week of training, for my first half marathon in November.
