Fiber

I wasn't hungry today, first time in a long while.  I have been taking some fiber supplements because I read that adding more fiber can stop heartburn.  I eat tons of fruits and veggies but obviously not enough. So I started eating the supplements, the heart burn is still there, but I am taking less tums.  For me this is an improvement. 

I walked today all over the place, and while I am posting I am moving to the music.  

I am still in the learn process for this half marathon.  I have been reading a ton of stuff and am trying it.  I will report on if it works here.  I am averaging a mile of walking a day now.  That is a lot more than before, which was maybe a quarter of a mile or less.

Progress.

Raining again today so treadmill for me.  I danced a little and I have not been very hungry today.  Maybe that is a good thing.  Less than five months before the Disney Half marathon, I am starting to get nervous because I don't feel like I am making any progress.  

I need to cross train tonight.

Raining

Raining some out side today, so I might have to go on the treadmill.  Still have not made it to the YMCA, maybe later, maybe not.  I am a large woman and I don't like being looked at while I work out.  I know that is just an excuse.  But it is my own to over come.

I missed my dental appointment today.  I must keep these kinds of appointments, an infection in the mouth can slow someone trying to loose weight and get fit down, every system in the body needs to be healthy. 

Dancing to my music in between posts.  Life is good today, cooked for my kids.  Played with them too.

Day of Rest

Today is my day of rest.  I will go out for a walk tonight and dance while posting my blogs.  

I hope it stays nice outside, like it has been.

From what I have read you have to take a day off per week to let your body rest.  I am taking that advice.

Walking

Swollen today, I don't drink soda normally, but I had some, now my ankles are swollen.  That shows that you are drinking salt, salt help retain water and you swell.  Ate a banana to get some potassium which help to get rid of the swelling.  

Going for a walk tonight.  And bouncing to music currently.  I am not going to drink soda again. The sugar can't be good for me either.

New Schedule

With posting at night, I will be reporting on my activities that I did, not what I am going to do.  

Currently I am rocking out here at the computer, dancing while writing.  I will be going for my walk right after my posting.

Still preparing for the Disney Half marathon.  And I found out that I am going to do the Harrisburg half marathon on my own.

Today's plan

Long walk this evening after posting here.  We went out to Hershey's Park.  Had a funnel cake, well part of one, they are too big of a serving size.  My family of six split two and basically threw away a whole one, we were all full.

Dancing, soccer, and the YMCA today, if I make it to the YMCA, I will feel a bit of an accomplishment.  I have had the membership for a couple of months and gone once.  It is a good place just been busy.

I am bopping to music right now, the current hits are great to dance too.  

Everybody have a movement filled day.  I am trying too.

Exercise today will be walking/jogging, and going to a theme park.

Went to the Zoo yesterday.  The hills there at the Hershey Park Zoo are tall.  I had some trouble pushing the stroller up them, but it was good exercise.

I think finding ways to move is the challenge.  I could sit here at my computer writing for hours.  I just love writing.  

Maybe I should find a way to get one of those treadmill desks, okay Amanda you are dreaming, that will not happen, not in your lifetime.

So, I will get up after every page and dance around. I think that will add more movement in my life.
